Finally going public! An art IPO, if you will

This week has been quite the week! First I got confirmation that two of my digital paintings will be part of the “Snap To Grid” exhibit hosted by the Los Angeles Center for Digital Art, which will be serving up possibly thousands of images by many other digital artists.

Then yesterday I found out I’ve been selected to display at the upcoming Pancakes & Booze Art Show, also in L.A.! That one will prove to be quite the interesting experience! It will also be the first show where my work will be available for sale; I have yet to select which pieces I will display but more than likely they will include at least two original acrylic paintings and two digital canvas prints. There will also be poster prints and/or postcards of my work for sale. More details to come!

More information about my exhibitions can be found on my Events page.

If you’ve read my previous post you’ll know that I’ve recently begun working gun-ho on this art career, dedicating almost all of my available time to it since the beginning of this year. I’m happy that I’ll be ending the year with one show under my belt and another on the way (plus, I’ve got a couple more submissions that I’m still waiting to hear back from!). So I’m very excited about how things are working out 🙂

Also FYI, I’m currently working on uploading the whole year’s worth of artwork to this site, which is still brand-spanking new! There will be a dedicated “gallery” page featuring all my recent work and which of course will be updated as new work is created.
